In the bible scripture below the Apostle Paul even challenges us to be thankful for everything.

 ” In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you”
(1 Thessalonians 5:18)

 Therefore in our prosperity, we should have an Attitude of Gratitude and remember that God provided for us. Moses’ warning to the Israelites while still in the desert is even more relevant today as we enjoy some of the most prosperous times in history.

 ”But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day”
(Deuteronomy 8:18)

 Our possessions and wealth are because God keeps his covenant. Remember all the promises of God are “Yes and Amen” (2 Corinthians 1:20)

 Don’t be afraid of criticism from others or careful to testify about what God has done. Repeat the bible scripture below and join the Psalmist in expressing your gratitude.

 ”O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;”
(Psalm 107:1-2)

It’s even okay to shout and express yourself !

 ”Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.”
(Psalm 35:27)

 

I often spend some quite time in my living room and just thank the Lord for what he has done. I also enjoy times early in the morning on the patio where I can consider what blessings have come my way because God has included me in his family. It’s great to be God’s child!

 ”At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.”
(Psalm 119:62)

 

Whenever you think about God’s blessings to you, take time out to give him thanks.

Continually have “An Attitude of Gratitude”
